Avionics - Radio Rack and LRU Mount
Finished radio rack with full support. Also created mounting brackets for the GAD 27 (Flap/Trim/Light/Airframe Controller) and GEA 24 (EIS). Further, the GMA 245R will mount below the radio rack, but I still need to drill holes for it.
I decided on this open design instead of the traditional L-angle w/sheet metal in order to keep things open. I can reach things from below the panel easily or if I have to do major work, I can remove four screws and move the PFD out of the way, which allows for a large access hole that I can fit two arms in to work.
All connectors are facing forward for to make it easy to access from below or from the PFD hole.
